On June 13th, an SM agency representative told Kuki News, "It is illegal to use the name, choreography, logo, and such that are the intellectual property of SM Entertainment without permission... We did not take any legal action in the past towards contents of non-commercial use with the advancement of the internet and media. However, we will take action against the activities that are used for commercial (profit) purposes."

However, addressing the matter of the Thai group specifically, the rep added, "Millenium Boy has explained to us that their promotions are not for commercial purposes, and they also promised not to use EXO's contents from now on. So for now, we have just wrapped this up as a simple happening."

The cover group is comprised of eleven Thai members and one Korean member, They "debuted" on 2012, and have over 90,000 members in their fan club.  Some of Millenium Boy's local activities include fan meeetings, appearences on TV, and other various promotional activities outside of Thailand, even hosting an event in Indonesia.

EXO fans have taken the matter seriously as they wrote some harsh comments to the Thai cover group on their Facebook official page. On June 13th, K-Pop blog HelloKpop reported on some of the comments from the fans.

One EXO fan wrote, "Hey B***h !!Why you cover EXO? You do not qualify, okay? Is really an insult to the EXO! please think properly! u are not EXO and please STOP cover EXO!!!! F**k!"

Another fan wrote, "Hey b****s. You guys not EXO. The way you are showing to the world just like you are trying to be someone , not who you are . DISBAND DISBAND. Don’t try to be our EXO. Becuz you not them."

With all the harsh comments from EXO fans, Millenium Boy quickly apologized on YouTube and said, "The money we received during our fan meeting was used for our event. We made and sold clothes, bracelets, and hats because we were following our fans' requests; they were not commercial promotions."
