Oscar Pistorius murder case trial is on a break but still several accounts on Facebook have been created, including one claiming to be his brother Carl, to scam people of donations. The "Blade Runner's" outpatient status could be detrimental to the full psych evaluation, a blogger said.

The Oscar Pistorius murder case is being used by Internet scammers who created fake Facebook pages to swindle supporters of the Olympian.

The information in one fake page, which intended to associate itself with the Oscar Pistorius murder case, reads:

"We seek financial support for the trial, debts and pending projects we have at hand. If you are interested in working actively with us in this direction, please do contact: Mrs Victoria Anderson at vicandersonl@hotmail.com."

Anneliese Burgess, a spokesperson for the "Blade Runner," told South Africa's Star newspaper that the victims of the Internet phishing scam were told to meet in Sunnyside, Pretoria for the money exchange.

"The family has made it clear that anyone soliciting money on their behalf are doing so fraudulently," Burgess told the publication. "We will, once again request Facebook to shut this profile down. All the legitimate Pistorius family members' Facebook pages are either deactivated or set on full privacy settings."

Meanwhile, Chris Tognotti wrote for Bustle that by allowing Oscar Pistorius to head home to sleep at night, "he's not getting the kind of round-the-clock evaluation that would be most thorough."

Oscar Pistorius claimed that he shot his girlfriend after being roused in the middle of the night disorientated, "but on an outpatient basis, nobody gets to observe Pistorius' sleeping habits."

"As for what the panel ends up determining, that's impossible to say," he said. "But we shouldn't have to wait much longer to find out - the trial is supposed to resume June 30, with the extent of Pistorius' legal fate hanging in the balance."
