Zac Efron might be blamed should Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes breakup become a reality. Even if the former Disney actor is currently being linked to Halston Sage, it did not stop him from praising the brunette beauty.

As per one of Radar Online's sources, the 'Safe Haven' actor allegedly penned a list of the eligible women that he'd date in a heartbeat. Topping the list is reportedly the 'Place beyond the Pines' actress: "Zac wants to date someone who's not intimidated by fame and who can challenge him intellectually."

If Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes breakup would take place, the source said that Efron would deem the 'Notebook' actor as "insane": "He's always loved her look and thought Ryan Gosling was insane not to put a ring on her finger. If she was even remotely interested he'd jump at the chance."

One of the reasons why the temporary Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes breakup happened was the 'Crazy, Stupid Love' actor's alleged unwillingness to tie the knot.

The 'Neighbors' actor has not confirmed his dating status although he was previously photographed with Sage. During his brief rehabilitation stint in 2013, Efron reportedly dated 'Mirror, Mirror' star Lily Collins who served as a "good influence."

Apart from Mendes, Efron is also crushing on Rihanna according to the Radar Online insider. However, Efron allegedly thinks that "her partying habit rules her out for anything long-term."
Efron is not the only one who is crushing on Ryan Gosling's girlfriend. Earlier in March, one insider of National Enquirer revealed George Clooney's admiration for the 'Hitch' actress.

"George would give his right arm to date Eva. He's had a crush on her for a while. He's run into her a few times over the years and loves her energy. He says he could talk to her about anything since she's hugely intellectual, and he's turned on by her smarts," explained the source.
