20th FIFA World Cup: Cameroon scoreless against Croatia

                It was a tough day for the Cameroon as they ended the game with no score against the Croatia. The victorious team gained hopes of qualifying the knockout stages of the FIFA World Cup with an easy 4-0 victory over 10-man Cameroon on 18th of June at the Arena Amazonia in Manaus, Brazil.

                The game started hot and fresh but went behind to Ivica Olic's 11th-minute opener against the run of play.Alex Song smashed out at Mandzukic that led the Africans of becoming 10 men in the 40th minute. The poor clearance of the goalkeeper, Charles Itandje, of Cameroon made Ivan Perisic doubled the score of Croatia in the second half. Mandzukic locked the points with goals in the 61st and 73rd minutes.

                It is a sixth straight defeat of the Cameroon in the World Cup play and a fifth straight exit at the group stage. This numbers followed their remarkable run to the quarter-finals in the year 1990. Volker Finke's team will end the group play this coming Monday against the hosts of the FIFA, Brazil, in Brasilia. The team Croatia moved their eyes on team Mexico because of their flawless victory.
