"X-Men: Days of Future Past" star Fan Bingbing has revealed what she claims is the first announced public appearance for EXO's newly "inactive" member Kris Wu since his alleged legal action to terminate his contract with the group's label SM Entertainment.

"I will never forget the innocent, pure eyes of the children when I first visited Ngari Prefecture [in Tibet]," the Chinese actress wrote in a post on her Weibo account on Friday, "This year, Kris will also be participating in the charity."

"Being able to give children laughter and happiness alone is satisfying to us. Kris will be our second guest on 'Heart Ali' after Li Ka Shing. We will continue on and take on the show with a sincere heart even when things get tough."

If Fan's report is true, the appearance would be Kris's first annouced promotional activity since halting activities with EXO.

Fans have voiced their support for Kris's first potential public appearance without EXO.

"I want to see him soon and I want to know how he is doing," reader Dreamcatcher810 wrote Friday in a comment in an article posted to the website allkpop.

"[Kris] left EXO at the right time," reader Fxxbrl added. "He must be happy now that he is acting the way he wants, no pressure from the fans. I hope finds the courage to go beyond and I will support him no matter what. Maybe EXO was just not his style."

On Thursday, the remaining active members of EXO filmed for the Chinese variety show "Happy Camp."

According to the online publication hellokpop, several members of the group, including D.O., Lay and Tao, broke down in tears discussing their recent hardships.

"Because of this, everyone was hurt and got influenced in so many ways," Tao said.

Lay agreed.

"We were pained that it seemed to split the fandom and create misunderstandings. We hope that this won't happen again and that we can become more united as one EXO," he said.
