There is no question about it - Croatia has to win to become one of the two countries to advance into the round of 16. Because Mexico is ahead of Croatia by one point, Croatia has to get as many goals into Mexico's net as possible.

The Croatian coach Niko Kovac told the AP that ''if anybody's knees should be trembling, it should be'' those of the Mexican defense.

In their past three meetings, Croatia has won two of those times. Looks like history is on their side. But according to the AP, Croatia have not advanced to the knockout stage of the World Cup since 1998, and Mexico has advanced in the past five World Cups.  

FIFA has picked the Uzbekistani referee Ravshan Irmatov to preside over the match.
