Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult break up rumors are starting back up again with the news of Kristen Stewart joining the cast of 'Equals'. Is Jennifer Lawrence sick of keeping a long leash on Nicholas Hoult? Now with Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart acting in "a love story of epic, epic, epic proportions", Jennifer Lawrence seems to be throwing in her towel. Is Kristen Stewart completely over her 'Twilight' romance, Robert Pattinson?  

The rivalry between Jennifer Lawrence and Kristen Stewart go way back. Jennifer Lawrence auditioned for Bella Swan in 'Twilight', but lost it out to the 24-year-old actress. Now with Kristen Stewart joining the cast of 'Equals', in which Nicholas Hoult has been set to play the male lead, the rivalry is back.

Kristen Stewart told the AP, "I'm terrified of it. Though it's a movie with a really basic concept, it's overtly ambitious. It's a love story of epic, epic, epic proportion. I'm scared."

"I told [director Drake Doremus], 'Don't expect that I am going to be able to do this. It's too hard.' But he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. I've given directors disclaimers before, but never this much."

The director sees something in Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult that Jennifer Lawrence may be scared to admit. He also told the AP that "It became evident in my head that Nick and Kristen would have great chemistry."

Jennifer Lawrence has been trying hard to hold onto her long-distance relationship with Nicholas Hoult for years now. But it looks like a break up was imminent. She spilled the beans on the hardships of having her boyfriend far away on an interview with Marie Claire:

"When we're busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other. Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn't text back or call... We can go out and have our own lives and know that we have each other."

Having that long of a leash on Nicholas Hoult sounds like a straight road to a break up! Maybe the fact of the matter is that they lack the chemistry that he shares with Kristen Stewart.

'Equals' will start filming in late 2014. We'll have to wait until then to see if the co-stars, Nicholas Hoult and Kristen Stewart, are up to no good!
