Hugh Jackman Congratulates Nick Kyrgios For Beating Rafael Nadal On Twitter: Grigor Dimitrov No Longer Hottest Young Player In Wimbledon 2014 Quarter Finals

Nick Kyrios beat Rafael Nadal, the French Open 2014 champion, and now looks to move into the quarterfinals of Wimbledon 2014. Move over Grigor Dimitrov, Nick Kyrios is in town! Nadal's defeat surprised John McEnroe (who now thinks that Nick Kyrgios will win the tournament), all the other critics and, most of all, Rafael Nadal himself. Nick Kyrios even grabbed Hugh Jackman's attention! Hugh Jackman left the 19-year-old tennis wonder a congratulatory message on Twitter.

Hugh Jackman wrote, "Aussie Aussie Aussie @NickKyrgios. Such composure and class! But hard off to @RafaelNadal ... one of the greatest of all time!"

Though the 'X-men' actor was very diplomatic in congratulating both players in his tweet, but let's face it, the Australian couldn't hide his joy and pride for the young Nick Kyrgios.

Nick Kyrios beat Nadal in a thrilling four-setter, 7(7)-6(5), 5-7, 7(7)-6(5), 6-3.

Nick Kyrgios told The Australian, "I'm pretty happy. That's the biggest win of my career, and that's something I'm never going to forget. I'm going to draw so much confidence out of that no matter where I play now. To have that under my belt, it's massive".

Remember when Wimbledon was all about the final match between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal? Those days are long gone. Even the indefatigable Rafael Nadal is showing age nowadays. The young ones are kicking down the door to break the long reign of the two champions.

But things are heating up even in the young 'uns! In the beginning of Wimbledon 2014, Grigor Dimitrov was one of the names on the critics' lips for winning the tournament. Well, now Nick Kyrgios is the younger, hotter player on the grass court and there's a lot more limelight where he is standing.

The 23-year-old Grigor Dimitrov will have to beat Andy Murray, the perennial British favorite, in the quarterfinals to advance. Nick Kyrgios will have to overcome Milos Raonic to do so.

Kyrgios told The Australian, "I'm just a normal kid, 19-year-old. I play a lot of Xbox. I brought my Xbox with me. Never did I think a week ago I was going to make the quarter-finals of Wimbledon in my first appearance".

He added, "On the big stage, it's something I thrive on: the atmosphere, the crowd. I just love it when at 5-3, I think it was in the fourth set, they erupted, the crowd. I just love that feeling".
