Will Neymar Turn To Girlfriend Gabriella Lenzi For Support? “Great Warrior” Makes Tearful National TV Announcement After Vertebra Back Injury At Brazil World Cup

Neymar, now out from Brazil World Cup due to his vertebra back injury, made a national TV announcement with a little message to all of his fans in Brazil. It even made the TV presenter tear up! Neymar has been airlifted out of the stadium and now is back home, concentrating on recovering as his Brazilian teammates pursue the World Cup dream. Will he turn to his girlfriend Gabriella Lenzi for emotional support?

The 22-year-old Brazilian star forward made an emotional announcement on national TV. "It's a very difficult time for me. I have no words to describe what's going on in my head." Watch the whole segment here on Youtube:

Neymar has not been able to spend much time with his girlfriend Gabriella Lenzi since the beginning of the Brazil World Cup. Though he would much rather want to be spending his time on the field, making his dreams of playing at the World Cup finals come true, he may be consoled by the fact that he can now spend some quality time with his swimsuit-model girlfriend Gabriella Lenzi. Check out their selfie taken a week before the World Cup:

Neymar Jr. was airlifted from the training camps to his home town Guaruja in Sao Paulo state, where he will receive medical care.

The doctors reported that the injury is a fracture in the vertebra, which will take weeks to heal.

The Brazilian team may need more therapy to get over the fact that they just lost their highest-scoring player.

Associated Press reports that the "doctors said he will not need surgery but is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks". To aid the recovery process, Neymar will be wearing a strap to help keep his back immobilized. While the vertebra back injury isn't serious, it's one that will keep him out of the field to miss Brazil's semifinal game and, potentially, the World Cup finals.

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff published a letter of support to "a great warrior."

"Your expression of pain on the field yesterday (Friday) hurt my heart and the hearts of every Brazilian," she said. "I know that as a Brazilian you never give up, and sooner than expected you will be back filling our souls with happiness and our history with success."

The Brazilian star forward broke his third vertebra after being kneed by Colombian player Juan Camillo Zuniga in the 86th minute of the quarter finals.
