Pokemon Distribution Events: Shiny Jirachi, PokeBall Vivillon, And Special Pikachu For X And Y In Japan!

Pokemon X and Y fans in Japan have three new distribution events to fawn over!

First up is a special Pikachu event being held at Minato Mirai Park. According to Serebii, this Pikachu event is called Outbreakchu, and will be held from August 9 to August 17. In addition to TCG promotional card giveaways and other attractions, a Pikachu is also available to download.

Meanwhile, the special PokeBall Vivillon has migrated over to Japan. Reportedly, distribution events will be held at Pokemon Centers across Japan from August 1 to August 31, and at the Pokemon Center Summer Festival from August 1 to August 18.

Previously, this pattern was only available at distribution events held in France, but now Japanese Pokemon X and Y can enjoy it as well!

In addition, Pokemon X and Y fans will get a "fancy" Vivillon pattern once 100 million trades have been performed on the GTS. Now, it has passed that milestone!

Reportedly, this distribution event will be available from July 8 to July 31 over the Nintendo Network, and will give a special patterned Vivillon with the move Hold Hands. This distribution event is available across all regions.

And finally, a shiny Jirachi will be available through distribution events held as a part of the annual Tanabata Festival in Japan. Reportedly, Pokemon Centers in Tohoku will distribute a Level 10 shiny Jirachi with the moves Wish, Swift, Healing Wish, and Moonblast. It will also hold a Star Piece.

This distribution event will be available from August 1 to August 31 as well.
