Mario Gotze is Germany’s national hero at the moment. His 113th-minute goal earned Germany yet another World Cup title at Brazil World Cup 2014. The smiley midfielder showed that world that he’s “better than Messi”, according to coach Joachim Low, and celebrated the victory against Argentina with his girlfriend Ann-Kathrin Brommel.

The 22-year-old midfielder is one of the youngest players on the German team and looks forward to playing in many more World Cups to come. This match-deciding goal was his second in Brazil World Cup and his 11th international goal. Not too shabby.
He also scored a great-looking girlfriend right before Brazil World Cup as well. She was there to support him at the game. His girlfriend is a German lingerie model by the name of Ann-Kathrin Brommel.
Joachim Low, the Germany coach, anticipated that Mario will bring something special to the game when he subbed the midfielder in after the half time. Low revealed in his post-match press conference that he told Gotze to “Show to the world that you’re better than Messi and that you can decide the World Cup”.
