Orange Caramel Prepares For Another Comeback In August

Orange Caramel will be back next month with more delightful tunes for their fans.

Since Orange Caramel debuted in 2010 with "Magic Girl," the three-member group, a sub-unit of K-Pop girl band After School, they have captured the attention of fans with their catchy 'candy culture' pop songs and quirky music videos.

With the release of their third single album "Catallena" in March, came a fun and playful sushi-themed music video from members Raina, Nana, and Lizzy that quickly rose in popularity. The "Catallena" MV received over one million YouTube views in the first 24 hours of release and paved the way for the group's most recent single, "Abing Abing," a promotional song for Baskin Robbins's shaved ice dessert, patbingsu.

Although "Catallena" and "Abing Abing" were just released in the spring, Orange Caramel plans to make yet another comeback this year with a new single due out next month.

According to a statement reported by OSEN on the 19th, Pledis Entertainment, the agency representing Orange Caramel and their broader group After School, said, "Orange Caramel have finished recording their new song and are preparing for their comeback. It is set to be released in August,"

Pledis, however, had no intentions of revealing the inspiration behind the song or music video quite yet. "Although we can't reveal Orange Caramel's new concept yet, thye are preparing hard. Please look forward to it."

Stay tuned for more information about Orange Caramel's upcoming new release and in the meantime, check out the music videos for "Catallena" and "Abing Abing" below.
