Adriana Lima Maybelline 2014: Adriana Lima, the longest-serving Victoria's Secret Angel, is returning as the new face of Maybelline after a five year break.

Maybelline New York announced that Brazilian supermodel is rejoining the brand of which she was the face between 2003 and 2009. It has not yet been announced which products she will be representing.

Adriana will make her Maybelline New York return in print and television advertising campaigns this summer.

In a statement Jerome Bruhat, Global Brand President of Maybelline New York said "We are honored to welcome back Adriana to our amazing roster of spokespeople. Globally, women admire not only Adriana's beauty but also her commitment to helping those in need. We are honored to partner with her again. Her passion for life and positive energy is undeniable."

The 33-year-old model, who is also a flamenco dancer on the cover of this month's LOVE Magazine, joins the current Maybelline faces that includes Christy Turlington, Emily DiDonato, Jourdan Dunn and Marloes Horst.

In a statement, Lima said "It's wonderful to be a part of the Maybelline New York brand again. I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl, and I look forward to the work we will do together. The imagery is always beautiful and positive which is what I admire most about the brand."

Adriana Lima was 15 when she won Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil" competition. She was 16 when she won second place in the Ford "Supermodel of the World." Lima signed with Elite Model Management in New York City. Lima came in fourth on the Forbes top-earning models list in 2012. She has been a Victoria's Secret Angel since 2000. 

Lima has over 2.2 million Instagram followers and 5.5 million likes on her Facebook page. Adriana is known worldwide as a top model and legendary Victoria's Secret Angel. Adriana has been on the covers of Vogue magazine in Italy, Turkey, Spain and Brazil. She has also  appeared in campaigns and runway shows. The model has posed for top luxury houses like Prada and Givenchy.

Lima started acting in 2001 when she played alongside Mickey Rourke and Forest Whitaker in The Follow . She also appeared with her fellow Angels on the TV series "How I Met Your Mother" in November 2007 as well as in the 2013 series The Crazy Ones starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Geller. In 2008, Lima appeared on the American television series Ugly Betty.
