Fan's of "The Venture Brothers" are used to waiting a long time between seasons, but the wait is over as Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick announce a new upcoming special for this year in advance of "Venture Bros" Season 6 air date

The announcement reads :

"Space. The final frontier, where no one can hear you scream, revenge is only served cold, and the drinks are comped in the casino. Join the Ventures-and pretty much everyone they've ever crossed paths with-as they rocket to the Gargantua-2 space station for an epic, hour-long adventure that will change the Ventureverse as we know it forever. Created and directed by Jackson Publick and written by Publick and Doc Hammer, both of whom also provide voices for the special, The Venture Bros. Special is being animated by Titmouse, Inc. The half-hour animated special premieres on Adult Swim later this year."

This seems like it's going to bridge seasons 5 and season 6 together. Remember, at the beginning of S5, Jonas Jr. was hard at work on Gargantua-2 and needed Rusty's help, which lead to Project: Palaemon.

Fans of "The Venture Bros." attending this years San Diego Comic Con convention will be able to pick up two pieces of collecticble merchandise, both of which will special to the event. The first, will be a shot glass collection adorned with the faces of the show's cast. The shot glasses will sell for $26.99 and are being limited to a run of 798. Fans of the series will also be able to pick up a nifty Brock action figure boasting a black t-shirt with some bloody gashes across its front and blood all over his hands. The Brock figure will sell for $14.99.
