Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Wedding: A Chance For The Real 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' To Quietly Tie The Knot In Malta; New Film Together To Be Shot In The Island Of Gozo

How long has it been since the world saw Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wedding in a movie together? Nine Years! Yes, it has been almost a decade since the birth of the famous "Brangelina," following the release of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" in 2005.

Following news that the famous Hollywood couple will make another team up film, Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister of Malta, reveals that the film will be shot in the island of Gozo, part of Malta.

"I'm happy that Hollywood producers have once again chosen Malta for their project, and we will be delighted to host Mr

Pitt, Ms Jolie, and their family for the second time in just a few years," said Muscat. "I'm sure that this film will help put our beautiful sister island of Gozo on the world map," the Maltese Prime Minister told Us Weekly.

The entertainment publication claims that Brangelina will be staying in Malta for eight weeks starting the end of August, where they will start production in Mgarr ix-Xini Bay in Gozo.

Thus, rumors came flying in that Malta could also be a possible location for the long-awaited Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wedding.

There still no confirmation on what the movie would be, however, Huffington reports that, "insiders speculate it could be a relationship drama that Jolie wrote several years ago. That project centered on a couple with issues who take a vacation in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage."

Jolie wrote and helmed her first movie in 2011 - "In the Land of Blood and Honey" - and has now directed the highly anticipated movie about World War II "Unbroken," penned by the Cohen Brothers, which will be released on Christmas this year.

It has also been reported that the "Maleficent" star will be producing and directing the planned upcoming movie with her fiancé Brad Pitt.

It will surely be interesting, if the alleged project makes it to the big screen knowing how successful and controversial Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's first movie together was. "Mr. and Mrs. Smith grossed $500 million worldwide and it is where the love story of the now most powerful couple began.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie never looked back after that, and since they got engaged last year, the world is anxiously waiting for their wedding day.

In retrospect, both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have managed to utilize their fame and have been consistently working in the entertainment industry respectively.

However, Pitt, 50, has been seen more in front of the camera than his fiancée Jolie, 38. Pitt has starred in six films which, were nominated Best Picture at the Oscars including highly acclaimed movies The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Redford and The Counselor. Most recently, Brad Pitt skyrocketed to box office with his zombie-themed film "World War Z" making $540 million worldwide.

On the other hand, Jolie has been putting her acting career on hold following the scandalous "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" movie; she has been seen on-screen in Salt and The Tourist, both made it big in the box office worldwide. "Maleficent" is the first film by Ange after three years on hiatus.
