The 35-year-old actor was clad in gray shirt, black sweatpants, and baseball cap whereas his 26-year-old date looked equally casual in neon yellow tank, black leggings, and sneakers. The magazine reports that Nina Dobrev's former beau was seen touching the blonde beauty's neck and at some point, even wrapped his arm around her.

However, Ian Somerhalder dating Nikki Reed was allegedly kept a secret from Nina Dobrev.

"They are definitely keeping others feelings close as they work on their decisions to start an exclusive relationship together. They don't want to upset anyone. In an interview with Nylon magazine, the 'Let's Be Cops' actress says that she tries to be nice to everyone: "I don't like any kind of negativity. I try to be good to everyone, whether it's a love, a friend, an ex. I'll always try to treat people the way I want to be treated."
