"Devious Maids" season 3 renewal is still uncertain, as Pittsburg Pirates' Andrew McCutchen confessed to being obsessed about the show.

The series ended its second season on July 13 and Lifetime has yet to make an announcement regarding the "Devious Maids" season 3 renewal.

Series cast Ana Ortiz and Grant Show were in Australia recently where they promoted the show's pilot season which will be shown on Foxtel Universal Channel on July 24.

While both actors were promoting the show, they are mum about the "Devious Maids" season 3 renewal.

According to Breathecast, while fans anticipate the return of the protagonists, "Devious Maids" season 3 renewal is not yet confirmed by the network.

"While there is no exact release date of the next installment, the high ratings the show received would most likely indicate a hasty return to the Lifetime Network," it said. "Also viewer demand for a next set of episodes is high because of the opened ended conclusion of Season 2."

Because of these two main factors, the website said that the show could return late this year or early 2015.

Meanwhile, Major League Baseball MVP Andrew McCutchen said in an interview with Rolling Stone that "Devious Maids" has been a guilty pleasure, initially because his fiancée watches it.

"I'm sitting in there, like 'Oh, I guess I'll watch it,' and, you know what? It's not bad. There's not a plot - I mean, there is, but there isn't," Pittsburg Pirates' Andrew McCutchen said. "There's maids who clean the houses, and they just eavesdrop on everything that's going on in the families, and there's mistresses, there's people killing people, but the maids are always in the middle of it. If you watch it enough, you get addicted to it."

"You feel embarrassed when people ask you what shows you watch, and you go 'Oh, Devious Maids.' But, I'm telling you, just watch it," he told the magazine.
