Attack On Titan Season 2 Release: Popular Anime Not Airing On Saturday, July 26 But In 2015 Instead? AOT Novel Available A Week From Now! Grab Your Copy On August 1

A definitely devastating news for the avid fans but "Attack on Titan" Season 2 release date set for July 26 is simply a joke, just like how it started.

JapNation Animanga previously confirmed that Attack on Titan Season 2 release date will happen on July 26. However, new reports are now saying that the second season of the popular anime will not air this month or even this year.

This can actually be anticipated since the July 2014 release date for Attack on Titan Season 2 began as an April Fool's prank, which was reported by GMANetwork.com with Otaku House as one of their sources. But because of intense excitement for the arrival of the new season of widely successful anime, many fans believed the AOT release date that emerged online.

Instead, it is highly likely that the official Attack on Titan Season 2 release date will be set for next year. According to a report on Christian Today, the AOT show creator Wit Studios has not yet started the production for Attack On Titan Season 1, as confirmed on iDigitalTimes.

Because of this, fans looking forward for the new season may have to wait until 2015. And yes, it's true,  2015 is a long long wait for the passionate fans.

Although it is sad and frustrating news that Attack on Titan Season2 will not come out this Saturday, July 26, fans can still look forward for a nearing release of another AOT media. As reported on BreatheCast, the Attack on Titan novel release date is set for August 1, 2014 -- that's only a week from now!

Citing Anime New Network, the Attack on Titan novel release date was confirmed by Kodansha's Weekly, particularly the publication's 33rd issue of the Shōnen Magazine. Hajime Isayama, a Japanese manga artists and the creator of the original AOT is included in the credits of the novel.

Attack on Titan "recounts the battles that took place between human beings and the giants who are now ruling the world outside the walled enclaves of humanities last stand," as described on BreatheCast.
