As we previously reported, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson's mother got married over the weekend and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder was the "maid of honour." We repeat, Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend Eleanor calder was the maid of honor! Not his 16-year-old sister Lottie, not his mother's friend or relative, but Louis Tomlinson's lady love. Does this mean their relationship is getting super serious?

Eleanor posted the photo below to Instagram, with the caption: "Maid of Honour & Best Man"

A quick scan through Eleanor's (recently-neglected) Twitter account says that she's definitely close to her boyfriend's mother - there are a few pictures with the two of them hanging out (click here to see one!).

Still, we find it pretty surprising that Louis' mom didn't choose her daughter Lottie or another closer relative or family friend to be the maid of honor. Of course, this could also be Eleanor using the term rather loosely...

According to Metro UK, Eleanor and Louis have been together for over three years after they were introduced by fellow One Direction star Harry Styles.

As we previously reported and according to Unreality TV, @1D_Swiss_Team noted that Louis has been gushing over his girlfriend lately.

"Without wanting to sound too soppy, I'm incredibly happy with Eleanor," he said.

"When I started seeing her, I was already in the band [which] makes things easier in the respect that she already knows now that that's the way it is."

Sounds like these two are getting more and more serious. Will they follow in the footsteps of Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards and get engaged soon?
