Chicago Bulls News: Windy City Willing To Part With Key Players For All-Star Kevin Love?

Earlier this week, the Cleveland Cavaliers signed their first overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins, which would prolong their hunt for Wolves' Kevin Love by 30 days. This brings us to some interesting Chicago Bulls news as well.

Initially, the names which were rumored to be included in the Bulls' offer for Love are defensive players Taj Gibson and swingman Jimmy Butler.

However, it looks like the tides have changed and coach Tom Thibodeau it not willing to part ways with his dynamic defensive duo which often comes off the bench.

In a new rumor, Windy City is now thinking of creating an offer that includes shooting sensation Doug McDermott, former Spanish league MVP Nikola Mirotic and even second-year standout Tony Snell. A first round draft pick could also be in the mix as well.

As for the Wolves, getting three 'proven' players could be a better deal than what the Cavs can offer now. Anthony Bennett may be a first overall draft pick, but he hasn't lived up to expectations yet. Wiggins is still a rookie and has not even played in an actual NBA game.

Snell is a volume scorer who has emerged as one of the top players during the Vegas Summer League, McDermott has also performed well in that mini-league and is currently member of the practice squad for Team USA. Mirotic may be a bit older and rookie in the NBA, but he has already dominated the sport in Europe.

But just like in the case of Wiggins, the Bulls still need to wait for more than 20 days since they only signed Mirotic last week. Aside from Cleveland and Chicago, the Golden State Warriors have also been previously under talks with Minnesota, though they do not agree including Klay Thompson to the table.

We'll see in a few weeks who will win the sweepstakes for Kevin Love and become an immediate contender deep into the NBA Playoffs.
