Nicki Minaj hit Instagram booty first on July 24 when she posted the cover artwork for her upcoming single, "Anaconda." The artwork shows the "Pills and Potions" singer in a butt-bearing thong and a pink sports bra, sexily staring at her prey.

Nicki captioned the Instagram melter "7/28 ANACONDA on ITunes @nickiminaj ...Already know !!"

The Anaconda cover has critics bashing the 31-year-old rapper as maybe baring a little more than would be good for her, but we can't look away. Some media outlets aren't quite so mesmerized by the new cover. Most news outlets put out the pic with a big NSWF warning. Nicki took to Twitter on Friday to defend the cover art. Nicki Minaj says the "Anaconda" single artwork is no more revealing than any Sports Illustrated cover.

Minaj then posted a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover featuring Chrissy Teigen. Who is now being hit with the fallout.

"I just landed and I have a Nicki Minaj fans going absolutely bats**t on me. No idea why," Teigen told her Twitter followers.
