"Gotham" TV series casts Ben McKenzie and Erin Richards take time off from the middle of promotions in order to try ot the zip line during the Comic-Con. The characters were in full force during the 2014 San Diego event.

In a series of photos by MailOnline, "Gotham" TV series casts Ben McKenzie and Erin Richards were dressed casually as they prepare to zip line "over a cut-out of Gotham's skyline."

"Ben was treated to a spectacular view of the Comic-Con grounds alongside his Gotham co-star Erin Richards - who portrays his love interest - as he jumped off the platform in San Diego on Saturday," the British tabloid said, adding that the two actors looked "anxious" prior to zip-lining through the crowd.

Meanwhile, TVLine reported that "Gotham" TV series casts Ben McKenzie and Eric Richards led the cast and crew of the upcoming Fox thriller during the San Diego Comic-Con.

Ben McKenzie, who plays the young Det. Jim Gordon, even compared the streets of Gotham "to those of Southland's Los Angeles."

"Jada Pinkett Smith teased 'a long history' between Bullock and mob boss Fish Mooney, and Camren Bicondova and David Mazouz cast their votes for favorite Catwomen and Batmen of the past," the website added.

Earlier, executive producer Bruno Heller dished out "Gotham" TV series spoilers to TVLine when he said that four villains such as Catwoman, Penguin, The Riddler and Fish Mooney will be shown on the pilot. The pilot episode is going to be about Penguin and his rise to villainy, as well as his spat with Fish Mooney.

"You have to front-load the pilot with the best that you've got. You have to open big," Bruno Heller said during the recent Television Critics Association summer press tour.

However, that's not going to be the case every episode since they will be "far more careful with how we roll out the villains and in what way."
