Daesung's career has been skyrocketing since going solo.

The Big Bang member finally finished his two month long solo tour in Japan over the weekend after completing his concert in Osaka.

The 25-year-old singer launched his "D-LITE DLive 2014 In Japan - D'Slove-" concert in Yokohama in early June and has held a total of 15 concerts in eight cities throughout the course of his tour. Daesung has now met with a total of 170,000 fans throughout his entire tour in Japan, setting the record as the first Korean solo artist to have over 100,000 fans attend his tour.

"Last year during my solo tour, I was greeted by your love. This year, I wanted to give back to those that supported me and made this tour. It was amazing to meet all of you through this tour again," stated the idol member.

Daesung heated up the stage and got fans screaming as he performed his hit tracks, including "I LOVE YOU," "Rainy Rainy," "Wings" and more from his Japanese albums. He also showed off his beyond amazing drum skills with his cover of the song "Furui  Nikki," according to Allkpop.

After spending three hours and 40 minutes performing a total of 25 songs, the singer announced, "I'm planning something for this fall as a solo artist."

Fans and local media were reportedly both shocked by the news because he had only recently made his comeback with "D'Slove."

Daesung's continuous efforts to fly solo have been fully supported by his fellow Big Bang members. Seungri made an appearance at the Osaka Castle Hall to support his friend over the weekend.

"D lite is the best!!! #osaka #daesung," wrote Seungri on his Instagram along with a photo of the two idols smiling.

Daesung's work outside of Big Bang has continuously been recognized, with his recent album ranking No. 1 on the Oricon Chart, according to Yonhap News.

During the course of his final concert Daesung revealed that he had plans to return to fans so that he can "sing, dance, and spend time full of love and share something that everyone can identify with."
