Andy Murray has been so busy with his social media pranks and getting involved in his mom Judy’s business to even think about girlfriend Kim Sears drama! Despite all the break up, engagement, argument rumors floating around on cyberspace, Andy Murray has been preoccupied with launching the “Cold Plunge Challenge” warning mom Judy against ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ to really pay attention to the gossip mill.

Not to forget the tennis training for the Rogers Cup and the US Open! Imagine that.

Let’s hope that Andy’s girlfriend Kim Sears is not too bothered by the fact that he doesn’t seem to care about how their relationship looks.

The Scottish tennis player has had a busy in-between tournament time doing damage control on his mother’s vibrant social life. Express.co.uk revealed that Judy tried to put an application for a BBC hit show, ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

"It was on the front page of the papers during Wimbledon and Andy asked me about it. I said 'no' and he said 'thank God for that, you would be absolutely terrible' which I would.”

Crisis averted. However, Andy couldn’t get his mom to stop saying embarrassing things to Express.

"If I could dance with any tennis player, it would be Feliciano Lopez, who I call 'Deliciano'. He looks a bit like a Roman God."

Oh mom.

To divert the media’s attention away from his mom’s embarrassing comments about fellow tennis players, Andy Murray initiated an ice bucket shower challenge for his coaching team, called “Cold Plunge Challenge”.

What does this involve? A cooler filled with ice cubes and freezing water and a willing victim.

The way this “Cold Plunge Challenge” works is that the showered victim gets to choose the next victim. Canadian tennis player Jesse Levine nominated Andy. In turn, Andy nominated his coach Amelie Mauresmo.

 

Amelie nominated the young French players, Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic.

At least girlfriend Kim Sears can be excused from his “Cold Plunge Challenge” as she is not a tennis player! Or maybe she thinks it’s a stupid idea.
