According to the Daily Mail, Benedict Cumberbatch, who is known for his "Sherlock" TV series, was photographed on Sunday evening in Los Angeles, dining with pals after the San Diego Comic-Con, where he was promoting his upcoming animated feature "Penguins of Madagascar."

The 38-year-old actor was joined by a young couple at Venice restaurant Gjelinas, the Daily Mail reports. Before Benedict Cumberbatch headed home, a young female joined the group and accompanied him for the ride.

Was this woman, who had her blonde hair in a bun and was wearing a white lace dress that showed off her toned legs, Benedict Cumberbatch's secret girlfriend?

We can't be sure this is Benny's new love interest, but it is awfully suspicious that this pretty young woman would show up after dinner was served to ride home with someone as handsome as Sherlock!

As we previously reported, in a Page Six story about Rebecca Eaton, producer of "Masterpiece Theater," the source reveals that Eaton helped Benedict Cumberbatch find his new girlfriend of 2014.

"That might also explain her other job: helping British hottie Benedict Cumberbatch find a new love interest. She wouldn't say whom the Sherlock actor has met, but she said it's time for all those "Cumberb*tches" - the name used by his huge base of female followers - to move on," Page Six writes.

"Benedict has a girlfriend," a source previously confirmed to ShowBizSpy. "He's keeping it very hush-hush. But it's safe to say he's smitten!"

"He's been seeing the lady in question for the past few months. She isn't in the public eye, and has quite a serious career, so is keen to remain anonymous for as long as possible," the source said.
