"The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers may have to wait as CBS skipped Simon Baker's series when It released its fall lineup. However, fans of the show won't have to worry about cancellation as cast Tim Kang is already counting the days to filming.

According to its fall schedule, "The Big Bang Theory" has been moved to Mondays from its Thursday time slot to pave the way for the Thursday Night football. Other changes include "NCIS: LA" moving to Mondays, "The Amazing Race" on Fridays, and CSI on Sundays.

While there's no "The Mentalist" season 7, cast Tim Kang revealed that production is not suffering any delays. In his Twitter account, the actor wrote on Tuesday: "[The Mentalist] first day of filming Season 7 starts the day after tomorrow."

"The Mentalist" will only have 13 episodes this season, starting off with the "Orange Blossom Ice Cream," which is written by showrunner Tom Szentgyorgyi and helmed by Chris Long.

 Michael Ausiello wrote "The Mentalist" season 7 spoilers on TVLine when he revealed that Josie Loren will play Michelle Vega who will be added to the team of Patrick Jane (Simon Baker).

"She's a rookie fresh out of the FBI Academy: eager, ambitious, hungry to learn. She's never heard of Jane, knows nothing of his methods or past, and casts a skeptical eye on his unorthodox, rule-busting ways," the columnist said.

TVLine added that Josie Loren has an option to become a series regular from a current recurring role, and she will "partly fill the void left by original cast members Owain Yeoman and Amanda Righetti, who exited the series in the spring."

Creator Bruno Heller said they aim to provide closure to the Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney) romance before the season winds up.
