Nicole Scherzinger is busy at work on her new album - but is she too busy for her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton? BBC's Formula One presenter Suzi Perry revealed that Nicole Scherzinger hasn't been to many races this year, despite recently getting back together and dating the racer.

Suzi, 44, told Express.co.uk that she hasn't seen Nicole Scherzinger at the Fomula One recently.

She revealed: "Nicole doesn't come to the races anymore, she's not been around this year.

"I guess they've been using technology to keep in touch. I've not seen too much of Nicole, sadly."

Talking about Lewis, Suzi gushed about the 29-year-old racer and admitted she thinks he's a "terrific driver".

She said: "It's been a really fantastic season this year, and, of course, Lewis Hamilton has a shot at the title so it's even more exciting if you're British.

"Obviously I'm not supposed to back anyone because I'm BBC but I do have a lot of time for Lewis. I think he's a terrific driver."

We think it's a shame that Nicole hasn't been there to support Lewis at a lot of his races this year. However, we also know that Nicole has been hard at work, gearing up to release her new album.

According to Daily Mail, she told Digital Spy: "I've just worked with The Dream and Tricky and it is cohesive, we've created a sound. We found a sound. We found a Nicole sound."

"So when you hear a couple of the songs you'll be like, 'Woah, that doesn't sound like any other artist out there. Any other formula of song out there. Any other beat out there,'" she said.

Nicole also explained why she chose to release her latest single "Your Love" first, on May 31: "It's actually unlike any other song on my new album. It's more poppy."

"The other songs are pop, but they're more urban-pop. I just remember the feeling I got when I went back to my room and I just couldn't stop singing the song. It had a hold on me."

It also doesn't help that Nicole Scherzinger and boyfriend Lewis Hamilton are dating long distance, meaning that it isn't easy always being there in person for each other.

The former "X Factor" judge opened up in the August issue of Cosmopolitan magazine last year about her tough long distance relationship with Lewis Hamilton, Express UK reports. She called it "crazy romantic" but not easy.

"Relationships are hard and having to hold a long-distance relationship is even harder," she said.

"It's kudos to us for growing and trying - there's so much love there. It's just the distance, it's not natural for anyone. But I'm good and I'm happy."

But when asked if she would cut back on her work to spend more time with her boyfriend, the gorgeous lady stuck to her guns.

"No, absolutely not. This is my passion, I have so much more to give, and with him - whether we're on or off - I wholeheartedly support him in everything he does," she said.

"It's good we have that love and respect for each other."
