"The Big Bang Theory" season 8 is postponed due to the contract issues, as cast Kaley Cuoco spends time with husband Ryan Sweeting.

The E! News confirmed that "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 is indeed postponed because of the continuing contract deadlock between the Warner Bros. TV network and the main cast Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar.

In a statement sent to different media outlets, the studio said that "Due to ongoing contract negotiations, production on The Big Bang Theory-which was originally scheduled to begin today (July 30)-has been postponed."

Earlier this month, CBS head for entertainment Nina Tassler was still very optimistic about making the deal happen while she talked to reporters during the 2014 TCA summer press tour.

"We're feeling very confident that everything will work out. These deals manage to get done miraculously somehow year after year," she said.

While they might have worked out before, "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 being postponed was inevitable because Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki are all reportedly asking for around $1 million per episode each, up from their previous $350,000-per-episode contract.

Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar are also asking for significant pay raises, although it's not immediately known how much, according to Sydney Morning Herald.

In the downtime, however, "The Big Bang Theory" cast Kaley Cuoco was spotted hanging out with her husband Ryan Sweeting on the set of "Burning Bodhi" in New Mexico where she's currently filming.

They immediately hammed it up for the camera at On the Shoot Photo Parlour in Albuquerque, New Mexico where they wore period Western clothes. "The Big Bang Theory" Cast Kaley Cuoco then posted the sepia-toned photo on social media along with the caption: "Had some free time, so meandered over yonder to the ole saloon and it was a hoot! #ontheshootphotography #newmexico."
