There might be an impending feud in 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' for Kendall Jenner reportedly banned her half-sister Kim Kardashian from attending her shows. The reason is that the 18-year-old does not want the audience to think that she's merely riding on her sister's fame.

'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star Kendall has always been determined to prove that she could succeed even without her last name. When she got interviewed by Love magazine, she said that she wanted to be known for her hard work and not for her family's popularity.

"People think that this [success] just came to me. But it didn't. What I have has almost worked against me. I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn't take me seriously as a model," she said.

She further explained why she had to drop her last name whenever she attended casting calls: "I went on castings and some people weren't feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn't recognize me. I was like, 'Thank you. Please don't recognize me.'"

To prove she does not need connections, the brunette beauty says that her first modeling portfolio was simply comprised of non-professional photos captured by her friends and a bunch of photos.

The 'Rebels: City of Indra' author did not deny that Kanye West's wife oftentimes receive invitations to watch her runway shows: "Kim was invited to a lot of the shows that I was in. She called me before and was like, 'Hey, I was invited to the show, I just wanted to let you know. Do you want me to come?' and I was like, 'No.'"

Despite being banned from Kendall's projects, Kim cannot hide her pride for her baby sister:"I'm so proud of her because she tried so hard. "

"She works her butt off and she just goes to casting after casting and I'm just so proud of her. She's living her dream and it's so inspiring to watch her," she told E! News.
