Emily Ratajkowski, who appeared topless in infamous ‘Blurred Lines’, is moving on up in Hollywood! Not only has she snagged GQ cover, she will also appear opposite Zac Efron in an upcoming movie, ‘We are Your Friends’. Meanwhile, Robin Thicke has been tanking his career post ‘Blurred Lines’ success. Even his friend Jason Derulo admits that Robin Thicke is “desperate”!

Emily Ratajkowski used ‘Blurred Lines’ as a leverage to get on the GQ cover, looking sultry in a black bikini bottom and a floral lei. She also scored a role in David Fincher’s ‘Gone Girl’, along with Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike.

According to Deadline.com, her newest project will be starring opposite Zac Efron in ‘We are Your Friends’. It looks like as time goes on, she gets to work with a male co-star that’s closer to her age!

Meanwhile, Robin Thicke has not been having a great year. His album ‘Paula’, which he recorded to win back his estranged wife, did so terribly that he became a laughing stock. The album sold only 530 copies in the U.K. in its first week.

Jason Derulo confirmed to E! News that the ‘Blurred Lines’ singer is at his wit’s end. “I think when somebody's desperate, they're desperate. [Robin]'s trying everything to get his girl back, so I can't knock him for that”.

Ratajkowski’s latest project ‘We are Your Friends’ tells the story of two DJs (one of them played by Zac Efron) and a girl that comes between them. Deadline.com writes that “Max Joseph co-wrote the film with Meaghan Oppenheimer and will direct, with shooting slated to begin August 18”.

Emily Ratajkowski’s agency is doing a pretty good job of using the ‘Blurred Lines’ momentum to get her gigs!
