Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy Split 2014: It looks like Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy are splitting up. The NFL Star and the model have been on the route to the altar for five years.

A representative for model and VH1 star Nicole Murphy confirmed to People magazine that her five-year engagement to Michael and Kelly Co-Host Michael Strahan is over.

The spokesperson told People Magazine "They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship."

Former New York Jets player Michael Stahan and Nicole Murphy began dating in 2007. Nicole Murphy had been married to Eddie Murphy. Nicole and Michael started seeing each other after she divorced Eddie Murphy. Michael Strahan, who is currently a morning talk-show host with Kelly Ripa, was just finished enduring a an ugly divorce with first wife Jean Muggli.

Strahan and Murphy  nine children between the two of them.

Michael Strahan is set to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame tomorrow.
