Novak Djokovic Fanboys Niall Horan To Forget About Terrible Rogers Cup Toronto Draw 2014: Wimbledon Champion Wants to Defend Title After Wedding To Jelena Ristic

Novak fanboyed Niall Horan at One Direction concert in Toronto after receiving a terrible tournament draw for Rogers Cup 2014. The Wimbledon champion, who turns out to be a BFF with Niall Horan, got the front row access to bounce along with teeny boppers. Let’s hope that he brought his wife Jelena Ristic along so that she didn’t miss out on the best thing that happened since their June wedding!

Check out Novak Djokovic enjoying Niall Horan, 20, at One Direction concert in Toronto! Front row access and everything!

Maybe that was Niall Horan return the favor:

Niall Horan wrote on his Instagram, "I was terrible! But was an amazing experience to play with the No. 1 tennis player in the world! Just incredible! Thank you to all of you guys, coz if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to do amazing stuff like that."

Who knew that the Wimbledon champion had such tender relationship with a 20-year-old One Direction guitarist?

Fanboying Niall Horan came at a stressful moment for Novak Djokovic. The 2014 Roger Cup Toronto draw is not exactly favorable for the newly married tennis player. Not only does he have to beat Gael Monfils (world number 22) and Radek Stepanek (world number 35) to get to the quarterfinals and beyond. Once he gets there, he will most likely face Andy Murray and either Stanislas Wawrinka or Grigor Dimitrov to reach the final.

Novak Djokovic, 27, is a four-time Rogers Cup champion. He joked that Raonic "can get to No. 1 as soon as I'm done with my career". Very feisty.

But all jokes aside, Novak is a pretty happy man right now and that happiness doesn’t just come from fanboying Niall Horan. In the span of five months, he became an expectant father, beat Roger Federer to claim 2014 Wimbledon title and married his high school sweetheart Jelena Ristic in a fairy tale wedding.

"It's a real joyful moment, and I'm blessed to be in a position to play the sport that I love, to be successful in it now back to No. 1 and of course to be married, to become a parent soon," he said. "I can't ask for more from this life, to be honest. I try to nurture what I have and always seek to improve as a tennis player, to improve as a person and to love my wife, otherwise I'll be in trouble."

Good luck to Novak as he gears up to defend his Rogers Cup title!
