Keifer Sutherland's feud with Freddie Prinze Jr. over reports of the "24: Live Another Day" star's unprofessionalism was slammed by co-star Louis Lombardi.

Louis Lombardi, who plays Edgar Stiles in "24," weighed in on Keifer Sutherland's feud with Freddie Prinze Jr., as he said that Jack Bauer is the epitome of professionalism.

"My experience with Kiefer was absolutely the opposite. He was one of the most professional actors I've ever worked with. He wanted the best out of everybody. I have nothing but great experiences with him. He's a gentleman," he told Us Weekly.

He then said that the Kiefer Sutherland feud with Freddie Prinze Jr., which was started by the latter, could be attributed to pure jealousy.

"Maybe he was jealous, maybe Kiefer did something to him - who knows? But Kiefer's one of the most professional and most likable people! Kiefer is the most professional actor. I'm all for Kiefer. I think he's a great dude and I have nothing but love for him. Everyone loves him, all the actors around him, the crew," Louis Lombardi added.

The Kiefer Sutherland feud with Freddie Prinze Jr. was prompted when the latter claimed that he almost abandoned his acting career because of Jack Bauer.

"I did '24.' It was terrible. I hated every moment of it. Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash. I'd say it to his face. I think everybody that's worked with him has said that," he said, according to ABC News.

"And I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped," he said, explaining his hiatus after appearing in the "24" series in 2010.

Kiefer Sutherland rep said in a statement sent to CBS: "Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than 5 years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie's grievances. Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best."
