"Hawaii Five-0" season 5 spoilers revealed that production has already started for the TV series, which paralyzed traffic at Kalakua Avenue on Sunday morning. McGarrett and Danno, meanwhile, were spotted wearing battle gear.

The Star Advertiser reported that the avenue was closed in three phases starting at 5 a.m., quoting Walea Constantinau, the commissioner of the Honolulu Film Office.

"The television series is closing the normally busy Waikiki road to pedestrians and traffic to create the illusion of an abandoned Wai-kiki for the show's fifth-season premiere," the publication reported. "The street was reopened around 10 a.m."

All the lanes of Kalakua up until the road met Kuhio Aveue running through Lewers Street were closed at 6 a.m. The closure lasted until 9 p.m. when portions of the street will be opened to traffic once more.

Meanwhile, the fansite Book 'Em Danno provided hints of "Hawaii Five-0" season 5 spoilers when it posted about 15 photos of the production on July 31.

The post titled "Alex and Scott on the Hawaii Five-0 Set" was posted on July 31 and it showed McGarrett and Danno wearing bulletproof vests and brandishing guns in what promises to be another action-packed episode.

Earlier "Hawaii Five-0" season 5 spoilers revealed the addition of Amanda Setton to the cast playing the medical examiner trainee, as McGarrett moves on from Catherine.
