"Arrow" season 3 spoilers reveal the casting of Charlotte Ross as Felicity Smoak's mother which could mean that there would be a backstory for Oliver Queen's love interest. The Green Arrow, meanwhile, will face two new villains.

The TVGuide dished out "Arrow" season 3 spoilers as it said that Charlotte Ross will be seen in the November episode. However, it's not clear yet if she will appear in the flashback episodes or the current timeline.

Matt Webb Mitovich wrote "Arrow" season 3 spoilers at TVLine that the fifth episode will provide a backstory for Felicity Smoak, which also includes her time at the MIT.

In the episode "City of Blood," Felicity Smoak shared something about her mother: "If I had accepted things, I would be a cocktail waitress in Vegas like my mother and I never would have gone to college and I never would have moved a thousand miles away to work at Queen Consolidated."

Showrunner Marc Guggenheim also confirmed during the Comic-Con that Felicity would be highlighted more this season. "We have had a backstory for [Felicity] for over a year now that we keep saying, 'This is the episode where we're going to do it,' and we don't. But this is the year we're going to do it," he said.

Meanwhile, Deadline reported more "Arrow" season 3 spoilers as it said that two more villains will present a challenge to Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen. The two villains are Ra's al Ghul, which was seen in Christopher Nolan's "Batman Begins," and Wildcat.

J.R. Ramirez will play Ted Grant aka Wildcat, who is a member of the Justice Society for America. In the TV series, however, J.R. Ramirez will play a former boxer who is helping underprivileged youth through his gym.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased "Arrow" season 3 spoilers to TVGuide when he said that they will immediately jump right into the Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak's relationship. During the premiere episode, he will ask her to dinner and reveal some of his past when people thought he was dead.
