4minute Hyuna's 'Red' MV Receives Over 4 Million Views On YouTube

4Minute's HyunA is on fire.

The music video for the idol member's hit single "Red" has garnered more than 4 million views only a week after its release.

Local media and music critics alike are beyond impressed by the fact that the 3 minute 30 second video that received a 19+ rating has gotten 4,078,617 views on 4Minute's official YouTube channel as of 2PM KST today. The sexy music video is expected to get even more views throughout the week.

HyunA has become one of Korea's sexiest female artists with the music video release of "Red," where she wears a monkey as a shirt and twerks like no Korean artist has twerked before.

The music video, which was reportedly initially banned by several major Korean media outlets, is now being shown on public television after being edited down to a 1-minute clip.

Since the release of "Red," HyunA has been gaining international attention, even being featured on U.S. media outlets including Billboard and Fuse TV.

"Like most K-pop tracks. 'Red' is a hodgepodge of different genres. The single opens with an EDM-like buildup before moving into its hip hop beat as Native American yelps, wonky synths and a Middle Eastern dance breakdown all make their way into the track. HyunA's rapping faster than ever, but she also sings her way through the poppy pre-chorus, making sure there's a little something for everyone in 'Red,'" writes columnist Jeff Benjamin for Fuse TV.

Despite HyunA's hectic schedule while promoting "Red," the 22-year-old K-pop sensation recently revealed that on her free time, she enjoys relaxing just like everyone else, according to the publication Allkpop.

"I like walking. I like going to parks and browsing around small stores. Sometimes I play badminton with my agency family at the badminton court near where I live," explained the "Gangnam Style" star in an interview with Grazia magazine.

HyunA added, "I normally enjoy looking at photo books. I am surprisingly fond of modern art. As I prepared for this album, I searched for pop art and photos that stuck out to me. When I'm looking at cool images one by one, I don't realize how much time has passed."
