CNBLUE Special Album, 'Blue Hits For Asia' Tops Taiwan Omusic K-POP Chart

Boy band CNBLUE took over the Taiwan Omusic K-POP chart this week with their recently released special album titled "Blue Hits for Asia."

The album, which was released two weeks ago, also topped Taiwan's Books.com's best-seller list and the Gmusic Asia Chart, successfully selling the most albums for that week compared to other Korean artists.

"Blue Hits for Asia" was released only in Taiwan and includes 18 of their hits songs including, "I'm Sorry," "Hey You" and more.

CNBLUE gained mainstream fame back in 2010 and has even hit double platinum with two of their albums. The boys held their "CNBLUE Live Tour - Can't Stop" in Taiwan on July 26 and 27, performing for a total of 20,000 fans, according to the publication Allkpop.

The members of the K-pop group performed in Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou during the course of their "CNBLUE Live Tour."

Now that they've wrapped their world tour, the four-member group is preparing to hold their 2nd solo concert in Philippines, according to the publication Yahoo Entertainment Singapore. A representative of JU Entertainment, the company involved in hosting the concert, announced on July 21 that the upcoming event will be organized with K-POP EXPO Committee and Lumos E&M.

"We are going to do our best so that CNBLUE and their fans can have a much more intimate communication with each other," stated chief director Son Jong Wook of JU Entertainment.

Despite the fact that the boys of CNBLUE have performed in various cities around the world for a large number of audiences, the members revealed that it's still such a surprise to see that they have fans internationally.

"It is so amazing that there are lots of people who love our music living on the opposite side of the world. Everywhere we went, our fans showed so much passion and energy. They kept shouting, 'CNBLUE, CNBLUE!" stated guitarist Lee Jung Hyun, according to the publication AsiaOne.
