Kate Upton's weight gain has sparked baby bump rumors as several tabloids have suggested that the Sports Illustrated model is pregnant with Justin Verlander's kid.

According to TheHollywoodGossip, Kate Upton's weight gain has some tongues wagging that she has "followed in the footsteps of her pregnant older sister." Also, it cited a tabloid report that the model was toasting water instead of wine during dinner with her boyfriend, which only fanned the rumors some more.

Then she was snapped wearing a baggy dress about five days ago which gave an appearance of putting on some pounds.

"The Other Woman" actress earlier told Elle that she loves her curves. "Because I'm from Florida, it's all about being in bathing suits. You are ugly if you don't have a curvy body. And I didn't have one, and then I got one, and thought, "Yessss!" she told Elle.

"And then people say: 'Oh, wow, you're healthy.' And you're like, 'Wait - what?' I've been begging for this body my whole life!" she said.

"Agents have put me under pressure to lose weight in the past. I would go on set and clients loved me. And then I would go into an agency and feel like crap about myself. They would say: 'Just lose five more [pounds]!' But I couldn't give a crap," she said. "I still don't."

On Sunday evening, Kate Upton and Justin Verlander stepped out of a restaurant after a date night in New York, based on the photo published on E! News. The model was wearing a red dress with a high slit that showed off a lot of leg. Her date, meanwhile, opted for a more casual look.

What caught the tabloids' eyes, however, is how the model placed her black bag strategically over her tummy which, in addition to the alleged Kate Upton's weight gain, only fanned the rumors of her being pregnant.

The British tabloid MailOnline reported that there may be a new addition to their relationship but it's not a kid. Kate Upton uploaded a photo of herself holding a puppy, along with the caption: "Pleaseeeee @justinverlander."
