Celebrity journalist Randy Jernigan said Ellen DeGeneres has a dark that she keeps hidden from the public but not from Portia de Rossi. Randy Jernigan claims to be an insider about the Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres relationship. He wrote a book called "The Life and Career of Ellen DeGeneres."

For their Aug. 11 issue, Jernigan talked to OK! Magazine about DeGeneres and de Rossi's relationship, saying it was doomed from the start. He told OK! "Ellen and Portia's marriage has been tumultuous form the beginning. Ellen tries to keep Portia to herself...She's afraid of losing her to a younger woman, so she won't allow Portia much of a social life."

Ellen DeGeneres and her Arrested Development wife Portia de Rossi are reportedly getting ready to split. "Ellen is very supportive of Portia and has no intentions of leaving her," a source told Radar Online. "Portia is her world. Ellen is controlling of Portia ... but she is always talking about how lucky she is to have such a beautiful wife."

TV host Ellen DeGeneres has been trying to dispel rumors that her marriage to "Arrested Development" star Portia de Rossi is headed for divorce. But the new book claims  Ellen battles mood swings and depression and acts very controlling with the people closest to her, including Portia.

Jernigan explained to OK! that "Ellen will sabotage her relationship with Portia be intentionally trying to make her jealous. Portia is very insecure and always accuses Ellen of hitting on women and cheating, leading to days of fighting. Sometimes Ellen won't come home for days at a time during their fights."

Randy claims that Ellen quit drinking to along with Portia, but a source told the National Enquirer that Ellen "doesn't want anything to go wrong with the fall launch of her new lifestyle brand, E.D. Hundreds of millions of dollars are riding on it!"
Rampant tabloid reports say that a Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi divorce would cost about $220 million.
