Group EXO Confirms Japan Tour For This November And Expects To Meet 100,000 Fans

EXO is set to heat up stages in Japan this fall.

"EXO will be holding their global tour 'EXO from EXO Planet' in Japan this November. They'll be putting on 3 concerts each in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka for a total of 9 concerts," stated an official from SM Entertainment, according to the publication Allkpop.

EXO will perform in Fukuoka on November 11 to 13, Tokyo from November 18 to 20 and Osaka on November 22 through 24. Around 100,000 fans are expected to attend their concerts throughout the entire tour.

If EXO accomplishes the feat of selling all the available tickets, the group will be making one of the largest scale debut stages for a K-pop idol group in Japan. Although EXO has created a solid fan base for themselves through various fan meetings in Japan, they have yet to hold an official tour in the country.

Japanese media has already shown quite a bit of interest for EXO's upcoming tour. Fans have begun to show their love and support for the idol group as well.

EXO fans are known for their intense, ongoing support for the K-pop group.

The boy band's official website crashed earlier this week due to excessive traffic caused by the announcement that EXO would be recruiting members for its fan club.

SM Entertainment started recruiting fans at noon on August 5 for the global club, EXO-L, a shortened version of "Exo-Love," according to MSN Entertainment XIN.

Since their debut, EXO has been all about constantly providing fans with new material. The boys are currently working on a new project titled "EXO 90:2014," where the members will be releasing covers of major hits from the 90's, according to the publication Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

The production team of Mnet's "EXO 90:2014" recently released behind-the-scenes cuts from the music video.

As EXO continues to release new projects, expectations for the group are only getting bigger.

"EXO members thoroughly monitored every scene after finishing each shoot. We believe that 'EXO 90:2014" will give a good chance of looking back to the path that the K-pop industry has come through," stated a representative of the production team.
