Screen writer Jamie Linden is out of the picture for Zooey Deschanel's boyfriend is now producer Jacob Pechenik as per recent reports. According to Us Weekly, the doe-eyed beauty has started to go out with Pechenik following her split from her boyfriend of two years.

Zooey Deschanel's boyfriend was reportedly seen having lunch with her at the Café Aroma in Studio City. An eyewitness of E! News said that the two were acting like a couple. Pechenik was reportedly feeding the 'New Girl' star with blueberries.

"She was smiling and laughing at the things he was saying [and] when they got up to leave, he put his arm around her and they walked out together," claimed the source.

Prior to dating Linden, Zooey Deschanel's husband was Death Cab for Cutie's vocalist Ben Gibbard. The two were married from 2009 to 2011 but the '500 Days of Summer' actress was careful not to divulge details about the divorce.

"You have to be careful what you reveal. You invite people in and can't kick them out," she told In Style magazine. In one of her interview with Marie Claire, the 'Sugartown' songstress likewise shared advice about love,

"Whether you're married or not, if you're in a relationship, you have to wake up every day and say, 'I want to stay with this person.' You have to make the commitment every day and every second and every minute," she gushed.

Earlier this year, Deschanel has been chosen to collaborate with Tommy Hilfiger for the brand's capsule collection. She admits to liking the brand's modest clothes because she herself is not a fan of fancy brands: "I hate that fashion could be something that excludes people."

Meanwhile, viewers will see Deschanel again as 'New Girl' season 4 comes back for airing. Jessica Biel will have an appearance in the series as Deschanel's on-screen nemesis.
