Joe Jonas and girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler have called it quits after dating for nearly two years. The couple's break up has been confirmed by the 24-year-old crooner's representative. Nonetheless, even if Jonas has parted ways with the 30-year-old model, no unpleasant feelings have been harbored.

"Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways. The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another," said the representative to Us Weekly

Joe Jonas and Blanda Eggenschwiler started dating in November 2012 after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend. Since then, the blonde beauty has been constantly seen with the former Disney star in various Hollywood events.

Joe Jonas and Blanda Eggenschwiler are also fond of going out with Nick Jonas and his girlfriend, Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo. In January, they all went on a double date in Hawaii after attending a friend's wedding.

Despite parting amicably, one insider reveals that it was Eggenschwiler's overly possessive attitude which ended the relationship.

"She was incredibly jealous of all of his friendships with women, and she hated how women would throw themselves all over him. It eventually got to the point where Joe could not take it anymore," claimed one source to Radar Online.

The Swiss-born beauty allegedly never fails to pick a fight with her beau over petty issues. Such aspect of the relationship reportedly makes the Jonas family worried for Joe.

"His family did not like Blanda at all. Everyone was always telling Joe that she was using him and he would not listen," added the source to the publication.

Last year, Hollywood Life reported Joe's hook up with British model Chloe Lloyd at the Catalina Beach Club and Hotel.

The 'Fly with Me' crooner has previously dated Taylor Swift, Camilla Belle, Ashley Green, and Demi Lovato.
