Katie Holmes dating "True Blood" hunk Alexander Skarsgard?

Apparently, Katie and Alex are getting on like "a house on fire" on and off the set of their new movie, "The Giver in South Africa."

The rumored lovers are caught spending a lot of time together off cam of their new film, where Katie and Alexander are portraying the role of a married couple.

It has been reported that the pair's reel life chemistry has paved its way into real life.

"Katie and Alex are getting on like a house on fire and she's crushing on him big time. He's a bit of a ladies' man and they've spent loads of time on their own rehearsing lines in her trailer. They clicked right from the start and have been spending a lot of time away from the set together," a source from the film told British magazine Heat.

Katie and Alexander's off screen romance are so obvious that people around them are not buying Katie's excuse.

"Katie's' excuse is that they're playing husband and wife in the movie, but no one is buying it - the attraction between them is so obvious," the insider added.

The said couple first sparked romance rumors on October, when the "True Blood" actor was allegedly caught up in a love triangle between Tom Cruise's ex-wife, Katie Holmes and Harry Styles former lady love, Taylor Swift.

However, people close to Alexander revealed that the Swedish actor has his eyes set for Katie Holmes only.

Katie on the other hand, has been reportedly head over heels over Alexander, who was first impressed with the "Battle Ship" actor's trek to the South Pole last year together with Britain's Prince Harry for a charity work.

Nevertheless, "Dawson's Creek" star's friends are actually hesitant over the idea of Katie Holmes dating Alexander Skarsgard saying:

"Katie's so impressed, she thinks it's incredibly sexy and athletic. Some of her friends are a little concerned, though. They're happy to see her smiling again, but it's not as though Alexander is a safe bet. He's known to be a huge player," the insider revealed.
