Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Keeping The Romance Alive Through Love Letters; Eldest Son Maddox,13, Dating An English Girl Says 'Maleficent' Star

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has been together for almost 10 years following their highly controversial team up movie "Mr & Mrs. Smith."

The couple are blessed with six kids namely Maddox, who recently turned 13, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara and twins Knox and Vivienne.

While, a lot of things may have changed between the couple the two maintained spark in their romance by old fashioned love letters when they have to spend time apart as demanded by their jobs.

"(Brad) was supportive from a distance, and it was quite romantic in a way," Jolie told Australia's TV Week.

"We decided to be of that time when we could imagine he was in the European theater and I was in the Pacific theater," Jolie added. "We wrote hand-written letters to each other that were very connecting for us, thinking of the people that were separated for months, if not years, at a time back then."

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt kids are indeed growing up fast, the "Maleficent" star revealed that her eldest son, Maddox, 13, who recently celebrated his birthday, has already started dating.

During the red carpet premiere of her movie Maleficent in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the 38-year-old actress talked to Entertainment Tonight revealing that her son has a girlfriend already.

"He's dating, he's got a girlfriend," the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador admitted. "She's great. I won't embarrass him. She's lovely. She lives in England. She's very cool."

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and the kids, who own homes in New Orleans, Los Angeles and south of France, spend a lot of time in England as the famous couple had filming commitments in London.

While, Maddox had to spend most of the time travelling with his family, meaning that he had to spend more time away from his first girlfriend, his very famous mom reveals that they do their best to keep the two young lovebirds together.

"We go there as often as possible," she told ET's Nancy O'Dell. "It's really, really sweet. She's a great lady, so I'm lucky. So far, we're doing good."
