"Devious Maids" season 3 is not in the horizon just yet but everybody in the cast and crew are positive it's going to be picked up eventually. Meanwhile, Rebecca Wisocky is appreciative of the love given to her character Evelyn Powell.

Roselyn Sanchez, who plays Carmen, told Fox News Latino that they haven't been told of any updates to the "Devious Maids" season 3, however she's confident that Lifetime will eventually pick up the drama because of fan following and ratings.

"Everyone is very positive, it's the highest rated show for Lifetime so they need it, we are super proud of it," she said.

She said they are also sort of trail-blazers because other networks are now trying to follow in their footsteps of creating a "heavily Latino based show," adding that this wasn't the case when "Devious Maids" was first shopped around to the networks before being picked by Lifetime.  

"All the networks are going crazy looking for the next Latino project. They first passed on a jewel, which was 'Devious Maids,' and now they all want something like 'Devious Maids,'" she said.

Meanwhile, even if "Devious Maids" season 3 is not yet in the horizon, the UK airing has yet to reveal the finale. Rebecca Wisocky talked about her character to EntertainmentWise and how's she's grateful for how the fans accepted her.

"I am amazed and grateful for how much love they've shown Evelyn. I'd hoped people would see the wounded bird beneath the snarly shell. But I never imagined that they would find in her someone to really root for to," she said.

"I'm not sure she deserves it sometimes. She says some pretty reprehensible things. But it feels like the fans want to restore the Powells to the life they might have had if their son hadn't died. I am truly touched that they've taken to Evelyn in the way they have," added "Devious Maids" cast Rebecca Wisocky.
