Selena Gomez will receive the ultimate surfboard at the upcoming Teen Choice Awards. Selena Gomez will get the biggest honor that the Teen Choice Awards gives out, the Surfboard.

According to E! News, Selena Gomez will join stars like Reese Witherspoon, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears when she picks up the Ultimate Choice Award at tonight's 2014 Teen Choice Awards.

Other past recipients of the Ultimate Choice Award include greats like Ashton Kutcher, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Mike Myers and Venus and Serena Williams.

The Ultimate Choice Award recognizes Selena's "contributions to the entertainment world." Gomez's accomplishments includes the hit Disney Channel TV show "The Wizards of Waverly Place," "Spring Breakers," the experimental art films directed by Harmony Korine, and Gomez's debut solo album "Stars Dance."

This should cheer up Selena, who got into a car accident last week. Gomez was reportedly trying to get away from the paparazzi who were taking her picture as she was coming out of a 7/11. Gomez offered the couple in the other car Burke Williams luxury day spa package. Gomez then took to Twitter to tell her fans what happened.

Gomez is currently starring in the comedy film Behaving Badly, which was written and directed by Tim Garrick. Behaving Badly also stars Mary-Lousie Parker, Nat Wolff, Austin Stowell, Patrick Warburton, Dylan McDermott and Gary Busey.

2014 Teen Choice Awards performers include Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, Rita Ora, Jason Derulo, MAGIC!, Rixton, Cher Lloyd and Jason Derulo. It will also include appearances by Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Cody Simpson, Hilary Duff, Megan Fox, Fifth Harmony, Kevin Hart, Colton Haynes, Josh Hutcherson, Sarah Hyland, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Lea Michele, The Band Perry and Nat Wolff.

The 2014 Teen Choice Awards will be hosted by "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey. 2014 Teen Choice Awards airs on Sunday, Aug. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
