Dancing With The Stars Rumor Alert: DWTS stars Maksim Chmerkovsky and Meryl Davis reunited in Detroit yesterday, Aug. 9. The former partners posted a picture of the Dancing With the Stars reunion to Instagram.

According to E! News, a source said Meryl Davis picked Maksim up from the airport near Detroit, her hometown. Meryl then took Chmerkovsky out to breakfast before she drove him off to an event.

Maksim took to Instagram to post the picture along with the caption "Got to see this one! Finally! Thanks for breakfast @meryledavis."

Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis had chemistry on Dancing With the Stars and fans wanted that to spill over into real life.

Chmerkovskiy told Us Weekly "I am very close with a few of my past partners because they have played a huge role in a big part of my life. Three months is a long time, and if I am going to give someone that much of my time, I am going to develop a relationship with that person."

Dancing With the Stars ended with Meryl Davis and Maks Chmerkovskiy won and rumors about the two dating have been flooding the tabloids ever since.

When asked about his relationship in Us Weekly, Chmerkovskiy teased "About our romance? No, we're good. We're great. She's an amazing person."

In an interview with Social Life magazine, Maks Chmerkovskiy described his relationship with Meryl Davis as a "showmance" saying "You spend summertime away from your home. When you spend three months very closely with someone at a particular place, it is like a summer love. You have no choice but to get involved with that person."

But right after the couple won, Chmerkovskiy told Us Weekly, "I love her. I love her! I love her as a person and for what she has allowed me to do with our choreography and how much she's embraced it. ... I literally had a perfect partnership with Meryl. Everything just came together."

Meryl Davis, 27, told People Magazine "I feel that I can really be myself with Maks. He pushes me to stand up for myself, whether it's in real life or on the dance floor. It's cool."

'Dancing With The Stars' season 18 ended with Meryl Davis and dancing partner Maks Chmerkovskiy winning the mirror ball trophy.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy used to date Kate Upton. But broke up because of their schedules.
