Jack White recently announced new tour dates for his series of shows this 2014. He recently included shows for some West Coast shows including a few in Seattle and Vancouver.

With his latest album, "Lazaretto", White said that creating the record was a quick process for him and his band as they wrote songs while they were on the road and recorded it after the tour.

"We did a lot of songs on the road," he told BBC. "When we were on the last tour. We wrote many really fast, and they were full of energy. "

Working with the new album even while on the road shows how the former White Stripes front man is dedicated to his music even claiming in one interview that he is a workaholic and says he doesn't have the right to be called a musician when he's idle.

"Some days I'll take the kids to school, and when I'm not on tour I'll be here. There's always a lot to do. A friend said recently, 'You're like me, a workaholic'. It's hard for me to talk about it because I might accidentally sound like I'm trying to fulfill some childhood guilt trip my father gave me, but it's not so much about work as a constant need to create something. If I'm idle, I don't think I deserve the right to be called an artist or a musician."

"It's just how I am. You really have to pay attention, all the time, to get the details right," he added.

He also told BBC that one reason they worked "Lazaretto" on the road because of him having trouble to find inspiration when he wants to be alone.

"People won't leave me alone. I can't listen to one song without people taking a photo or something, and it's a shame because most of my inspiration came from that."

The man behind the song "Seven Nation Army" is currently touring US and a few shows in Europe and is expected to finish tour until he reaches his last show in Belgium on November 16.
