Andy Murray Disses Nick Kyrgios FIFA World Cup Video Game Skills: Australian Tennis Player Pulls Out Of Cincinnati Masters 2014, Eyes US Open Debut In August
Andy Murray not only proved to Nick Kyrgios that he's the better tennis player at Rogers Cup, but also showed who the better FIFA World Cup video game player is. Who knew that tennis players are all video game addicted boys tussling each other for the game controller. Rubbing shoulders with champions like Andy Murray, Nick Kyrgios has been gaining some momentum for the U.S. Open, despite his withdraw from Cincinnati Masters 2014.
Andy Murray challenged Nick Kyrios and his fellow Australian tennis player Thanasi Kokkinakis to a real man-to-man FIFA video game match.
@NickKyrgios @TKokkinakis let me know when you want a real challenge on fifa... can hear you through the hotel walls! #rookies

One does not get FIFA video game invitations from world-class tennis players like Andy Murray! The boys probably will cherish the tweet till the day they die. Not to say that Nick Kyrgios is not a to-be champion himself! He made a name for himself by defeating Rafael Nadal in Wimbledon 2014. The young Aussie has been having some trouble picking himself back up. He was forced to pull out of Cincinnati Masters 2014 due to a stress fracture on his arm.
Gutted to pull out of @CincyTennis but I've been suffering with bone stress in my left arm. MRI results were positive. Will be okay for USO. — Nicholas Kyrgios (@NickKyrgios) August 10, 2014
By laying off the games at Cincinnati Masters 2014, Nick Kyrgios hopes to return to tennis at the upcoming U.S. Open in tip-top shape.
According to Sydney Morning Herald, “Kyrgios made the second round of Masters 1000 tournament Rogers Cup where he was knocked out by world No.9 Andy Murray”.
Andy Murray does know how to teach the youngsters a lesson! A little bonding over FIFA World Cup video game doesn’t hurt either.
