Jon Bon Jovi Will Meet With Buffalo Bills This Week; Will Trump Intercept Bon Jovi's Pass? Terry Pegula Odds-On Favorite, But Can He Beat The Spread?

Jon Bon Jovi will be meeting with the Buffalo Bills this week.

Toronto Sun reports that Jon Bon Jovi and his Toronto-based backing group has been admitted into the finalist round for the team. The Buffalo Bills franchise has been on the market after Bills owner Ralph Wilson's death last month.

Rock guitarist Jon Bon Jovi is working with a group of potential investors out of Toronto. Last week there was speculation that the group is short on cash.
Terry Pegula, Donald Trump and Jon Bon Jovi are all competing to buy the NFL's Buffalo Bills.

In the first round of Buffalo Bills bidding, Bon Jovi was one of three bidders along with Donald Trump and Terry Pegula who owns the Buffalo Sabres.

Insiders say Jon Bon Jovi's consortium put in a bid that was under $1 billion and Pegula offered an initial bid of $1.3 billion. But Forbes reported that Pegula, Trump and Bon Jovi all bid under $1 billion. The Cleveland Browns was sold for $987 million a little over two years ago.

Jon Bon Jovi's investor group had to re-submit earlier filings. There were reports that  Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who support Bon Jovi's bid, have suggested that the rocker walk away before he hurts his reputation.

Bon Jovi is seen as a villain in Buffalo, because people are under the impression he will move the team to Toronto.

The Sources say Rock star Jon Bon Jovi is consumed with owning an NFL team. Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly is prepared to make a bid to buy the Buffalo Bills. The family of Boston Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobss is on board, too. Though Jeremy Jacobs Sr. released a statement saying he has no intention of selling the Bruins in order to purchase the Bills last week.

Jon Bon Jovi wrote a letter to the Buffalo News titled "Why We're Bidding on the Buffalo Bills," on Sunday, saying he wants "to make the Bills successful in Buffalo."
He wrote "There has been a lot of conjecture, so we think it's important to clarify our intentions to the fans of the team and people of Buffalo. I know how much the Bills mean to the people of this region. So I want you to hear this from me: I'm not risking it all to let you down. If we are given the chance to be the next owners of the Buffalo Bills, I promise you that we will bring the same passion that you do every Sunday, every day."

Jon Bon Jovi is well known as being personal friends with multiple NFL coaches. Bon Jovi is a minority owner of the Atlanta Falcons, but, sources say he wants to be a principal owner. Bon Jovi has a close friendship with Patriots coach Bill Belichick and has been known to board a private plane to meet with NFL bigwigs across the country.
